The Apeka bird can get up to 8 inches long. It's lifespan is 5 years and it eats insects. They have a small tail, and they have feathers that are black, and orange, also it has black eyes. It wieghs about 12 oz. It's babys are called chicks until they are able to fly, then they will be on their own. Any animal bigger then them will eat them.
